The short version: TripOmeter doesn't charge for its core planning features, and we don't process any bookings or payments ourselves — so there's nothing for us to refund. Here's how it actually works.
Discovering destinations, voting with your group, building a shared itinerary, splitting expenses, and using Live Trip are all free, and TripOmeter does not collect payment information for any of it today.
When you tap a "Book" or "Reserve" link for a hotel, train, bus, or activity, we redirect you to a third-party booking site — for example, popular hotel, rail, bus, or activity platforms such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, IRCTC, or RedBus. Every part of that booking — the payment, the confirmation, the ticket or reservation itself — happens entirely on that site, under that site's own terms and conditions. TripOmeter is not a party to that transaction.
Because the booking is made directly with the third party, all cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed solely by that third party's own policy:
We don't currently sell any paid feature of our own. If that changes in the future, we'll update this page with that specific feature's refund terms before it launches — so you'll always know exactly what you're agreeing to before paying TripOmeter directly.
