Palghar district's coastal belt between Manor and Dahanu is one of North Konkan's best-kept secrets — a 75 km stretch of coconut-palm beaches, chikoo orchards, Warli tribal villages, and Parsi heritage. Dahanu and Bordi beaches are quiet and genuinely rural, nothing like the commercialised beaches further south. The Gholvad chikoo farms (India's sapota capital) produce varieties unavailable elsewhere, and Warli art bought directly from artists at village workshops is both authentic and affordable. Best October–March.

A rural coast-and-fort belt best Oct–Mar: Kelva and Shirgaon forts, quiet beaches, warli-country farm stays and the Jawhar palace a bit further inland.
